We are particularly keen to attract people on the verge of retiring, and professional and business people who are new to the area, who are looking to make new contacts and play an active part in our club.
Potential members are invited to attend one or two meetings (or activities) before they consider membership, in order that they can judge our claim to be a friendly and welcoming club.
There is a separate Ladies Probus group to which the wives of some of our members belong
The President’s Lunch and informal lunches are held at a range of different venues to provide variety and to allow members to discover new places, which they might wish to revisit for family outings.
