We meet monthly, on the second Thursday, at The Moat House, a 16th century Inn near Coughton Court, Alcester. We arrive at around 11:30 for an informal chat at the bar, followed by a brief formal meeting at 12:00 and then a lunch (from the bar menu) and afterwards a talk on a topic of general interest. Membership     We are particularly keen to attract people on the verge of retiring, and professional and business people who are new to the area, who are looking to make new contacts and play an active part in our club. Potential members are invited to attend one or two meetings (or activities) before they consider membership, in order that they can judge our claim to be a friendly and welcoming club. There is an annual membership fee of £25, no joining fee and at present we have a few vacancies to regain our maximum of 50 members.
